So today we are heading to my mother-in-laws house in Niagara-on-the-lake for turkey dinner. The kids are excited because she keeps toys there that are different then ours at home. To me it is just a turkey dinner and yes it is for Thanksgiving here in Canada (well tomorrow really but she does not want to cook Turkey on Monday) So anyways I just don't feel like it is Thanksgiving here since I did not grow up here. Even though I live only 15 - 20 minutes away from where I actually grew up but the states are obviously different. The holidays are October for Halloween, November for Thanksgiving and December for Christmas and of course my Birthday, lol. So I just feel sometimes out of place.
